What is Progress Book?

Progress Book is a sophisticated online progress monitoring tool. Progress Book collects data on the mastery of content standards. This information can then be communicated to the teach and parent in a meaningful way. Allowing students, parents, and teachers to focus on specific skills to support and enhance student learning.

Mastery-Based Learning?

Mastery-Based Learning (MBL) refers to systems of instruction, assessment, grading, parental communication, and academic reporting that are based on students demonstrating understanding or mastery of the knowledge and skills they are expected to learn as they progress through their education.

In a Mastery-Based Learning environment, students progress towards consistent demonstration, understanding, and application of the grade level standards with the ability to transfer knowledge to real-life situations.
